It's important to understand that your results are highly dependent on how well you follow the aftercare instructions
• After the procedure, you will keep your brows completely dry for 48 hours
• For 12 days, you must restrain from touching and keep all skincare, makeup, and hair products away from the brow area
• 48 hours after the procedure, you will wash your brows with an antibacterial cleanser and gently pat them dry
• If your brows are itching, flaking, or scabbing after the first 48 hours, you can apply a thin layer of healing cream (once a day at most) DO NOT use any form of vaseline
• You will follow this washing routine once a day, for the next 10 days
• DO NOT pick off any flaking or scabbing that may occur (doing so may result in patchy brows or scarring)
• Avoid all physical activity that could cause sweating for 12 days after your appointment (sweat will break down the pigment and alter your results)
• DO NOT use a sauna, steam room or pool during the healing process
• DO NOT get a massage, facial or skin treatment for at least 12 days after your appointment
• DO NOT expose your brows to direct sunlight for 30 days
• Once it has been 30 days, make sure to apply an SPF on your brows for long-lasting results
• Your brow tattoo may not heal perfectly after your first session (true results show after the second session)
• Your brows will heal 30-50% lighter than they appear immediately after the procedure
•Brow color will be customized to you and can always be made darker at your second session
• Throughout the 12 day healing process, your brows will change significantly each day:
-The first day, your brows will look sculpted and crisp
-On days 2-4, they will darken and appear bolder
-Around days 5-7, the color will fade and almost look as if the tattoo has disappeared
-Don't worry, your brows will start returning back to normal around days 8-10
-It takes 4 full weeks for brow tattoos to completely heal and show the final results
• You may experience some itching, flaking or scabbing on days 5-8 (DO NOT touch or pick your brows, doing so can cause scarring or patchy brows)
• Your results will last around 18-24 months, a color boost (touch-up) is recommended once a year to maintain your results
• Once your brows are healed, use an SPF when you're exposed to the sun (the sun can fade your brow tattoo, it's important to keep them protected)
• Avoid using exfoliators, retinol, glycolic acids, or AHA’s on the brow area (doing so can fade the brows)
• Avoid laser light treatments on your brow tattoo (this can darken, lighten, and even distort the color of your pigment)
• Avoid using a tanning bed but if you do, make sure you cover your brows (UV rays will alter the color of your tattoo)
